FIELD: hydraulic structures.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic structures and can be used in the creation of industrial, transport, transshipment and storage complexes for various purposes in the coastal and marine areas. The gravity-type base (GTB) contains rectangular top and bottom plates 2 and 4, outer walls and inner vertical walls forming compartments. GTB has a central part 1 and a protruding part 3. The central part 1 of the GTB has the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped with the specified upper plate 2. The protruding part 3 of the GTB is located on the sides of the central part 1 along its entire perimeter and has vertical outer walls 5. The lower plate 4 is common to the protruding and central parts 1 and 3, and the height of the protruding part 3 is less than the height of the central part 1. The central part 1 has internal vertical longitudinal and transverse walls 5 forming compartments 6, 7, and the protruding part 3 has internal vertical walls 5 perpendicular to its outer walls and forming compartments 15 on the end sides and ballast compartments 8 on the sides. Between the intermediate horizontal plate 13 and bottom plate 4 are vertical longitudinal and transverse walls, forming additional compartments 20.

EFFECT: new GTB design is suitable for transportation through shallow water areas and adapted for use in Arctic conditions, in water areas with ice conditions.
