SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry associated with the production of exhaust units installed in air ducts. The exhaust unit is designed for installation inside the air duct and includes: an impeller (1) having a base (1.1) and blades (1.2), with the blades (1.2) protruding from the base (1.1); a drive element (2) for imparting a torque to the impeller (1) so that it creates an air flow through the blades (1.2); a support (3) having a first surface (3.1) and a second surface (3.2), the first surface (3.1) being intended for fixed placement of the drive element (2); housing (4) consisting of a first part (4.1) and a second part (4.2) to surround the impeller (1), drive element (2) and support (3). The support (3) contains: an inner wall (3.3), which, together with the first surface (3.1), limits the body (6) to accommodate the drive element (2); an outer wall (3.4) located radially outside of the inner wall (3.3), so that the walls (3.3, 3.4) delimit the passage (7) for the movement of air. When the suction unit is installed in the position of use, the outer wall (3.4) comes into radial and internal contact with the first part (4.1) and the second part (4.2), as well as with the area (J) of the connection of the first part (4.1) and the second part (4.2) with each other, so that the air outlet along the outer wall (3.4) becomes blocked.

EFFECT: reduction of noise generated by the passage of air through the exhaust device.
