FIELD: packaging materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packaging materials, namely to labels used for latex or wax coating of cheeses, as well as for natural rind. The method for producing a label for a latex or wax coating of cheese, as well as a natural rind, includes applying a primer (primer layer) to paper, treating paper with fungicidal impregnation, preparing paper for printing, including dividing into streams, rewinding rollers to the format required for printing, trimming, edge cleaning, label printing and die-cutting in the required shape, in this case, porous paper made from cellulose plant fiber with a macropore size of 65-133 micrometers and their number of 125,000-250,000 pores per cm2 is used. The primer is applied only on one side of the paper, namely the front, in several stages in two to four layers with intermediate drying, including thermal, ultraviolet, infrared and natural drying, the reverse side of the paper is treated with fungicidal impregnation, while using a composition that includes a mixture of cationic polyelectrolytes, polycarboxylic acids, fungicidal components and water. Printing is carried out from the front side of the paper, while the ink contains polymeric photoinitiators and/or initiators with low migration potential.
EFFECT: invention provides a label that is environmentally degradable, "breathable", protects against mold fungi, does not affect the quality of the cheese, which allows it to be applied to the cheese not only before it is sold, but also during the ripening process.
