The first terminal receives direct connection hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback information returned by the second terminal, wherein the direct connection HARQ feedback information is configured to indicate a reception state corresponding to the direct connection data. The first terminal reports the direct connection HARQ feedback information to the access network device.

EFFECT: achieving a high probability of successful transmission and reception of information in a direct communication scenario and in improving the efficiency of data transmission.
