FIELD: space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rocket science and can be used to control the position of the combustion chambers of liquid rocket engines. The thrust vector control system of a liquid rocket engine contains a frame with a gimbal for the installation of a liquid rocket engine, two electromechanical drives mounted on the frame in two mutually perpendicular planes, as well as a command signal generator electrically connected to two autonomous computing devices. Each autonomous computing device is electrically connected to its electromechanical drive through its own amplifier-converter device and directly. The shafts of the electromechanical drives are connected to the combustion chamber of the liquid rocket engine by means of articulated lever mechanisms made of a lever and a thrust, and the lever of each articulated lever mechanism is rigidly fixed at one end to the shaft of its electromechanical drive, and the second end by means of a spherical ball bearing is attached to one of the ends of the thrust of the articulated lever mechanism, while one thrust with its second end by means of a spherical ball bearing is attached to the eye of the combustion chamber of the liquid rocket engine, and the other rod is attached to the eyelet of the external frame of the gimbal with its second end by means of a spherical ball bearing.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of using a thrust vector control system with increased tracking accuracy in conditions of long-range flights in outer space with prolonged stay at low temperatures, under the influence of vibrations and shocks generated by a liquid rocket engine, can be used in manned and cargo spacecraft, long-range upper stages and in interorbital tugs.
