SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to embodiments of consumable material for use in an aerosol-generating material heating device and to a system containing such consumable material. Consumable material comprises an outer tube, an inner element in the form of a hollow inner tube defining a channel for receiving the heating element of the device in order to heat the aerosol-forming material, and at least one support supporting the inner member relative to the outer tube so that there is at least one air gap between the inner member and the outer tube. One of the inner element, the outer tube and the support contains an aerosol-generating material which, when heated, generates an aerosol into the air gap, and the consumable material has at least one outlet allowing the aerosol to escape from the air gap.

EFFECT: efficient heating of consumable material from inside to outside.
