FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerosol-forming articles for use in an aerosol generation device. Aerosol-forming article contains a tubular base with a first aerosol-forming composition and a second aerosol-forming composition different from the first one. First aerosol-forming composition contains an amorphous substance containing from 1 to 60 wt. % of a gelling agent and from 5 to 80 wt. % of an aerosol-forming agent.
EFFECT: use of two or more aerosol-forming compositions enables selective adjustment of the composition of the inhaled aerosol; in addition, the amorphous solid aerosol-forming components of the first composition are volatilized and inhaled; wherein the use of the amorphous substance enables to change or improve the composition of the aerosol or vapour.
