SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a sound-absorbing structure of a roof of a large room with walls, several rafters resting on walls with at least ends, and a sound-reflecting roof resting on rafters. On side surfaces of several rafters, there are absorbing bands consisting of sound-absorbing sections. Between neighboring rafters with absorbing bands, there is a sound-reflecting roof section, a width of which exceeds an average height of rafters by at least two times. In addition, the present invention relates to a sound-absorbing structure of sound-absorbing sections located in a large room with walls and a roof, wherein the roof structure consists of several rafters and roof resting on them. According to the invention, on both side surfaces of several rafters, there are absorbing bands consisting of sound-absorbing sections located sequentially. In addition, the invention relates to a large room with a reduced reverberation time due to the sound-absorbing structure.
