FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to excavation equipment, namely to bucket excavators intended for development of strong soils above parking level, and in particular to quarry excavators. Bucket excavator comprises fixed part with running equipment, rotary platform with accumulation hopper and working equipment, including main and additional booms with hydraulic mechanisms of rotation in vertical plane. Additional hydraulic cylinders of booms and control system provide antiphase rotation of booms, successive filling of buckets with soil and their unloading into accumulation hopper, which doubles the volume of soil moved in one working cycle. Recuperation of potential energy of gravity force of booms ensures reduction of energy consumption.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and power savings.
