SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of food and chemical-pharmaceutical industry, namely to ketogenic composition. A ketogenic composition containing beta-hydroxybutyric acid salts and a liquid carrier, which additionally contains dry ginseng extract (Panax ginseng S.A. Meyer) and dry extract of Melissa officinalis (Melissa officinalis L), sodium benzoate, concentrated apple juice and purified or distilled water as a liquid carrier, and as salts of beta-hydroxybutyric acid: potassium beta-hydroxybutyrate and magnesium beta-hydroxybutyrate at the following ratio of components, wt. %: dry ginseng extract (Panax ginseng S.A. Meyer) 0.40-0.80; lemon balm dry extract (Melissa officinalis L) 1.10-1.45; potassium beta-hydroxybutyrate 15.00-20.00; magnesium beta-hydroxybutyrate 1.70-2.20; sodium benzoate 0.01-0.02; concentrated apple juice 26.00-33.00; purified or distilled water the rest.
EFFECT: above-described composition makes it possible to significantly increase the levels of ketones in the blood, can be used in various conditions requiring energy compensation.
