SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition for obesity and overweight preventing and treating. Composition for obesity and overweight preventing and treating, comprising: a) 50 to 200 mg of Phaseolus vulgaris extract having an inhibitor content α-amylase of 300 mcg/mg and lectin number 10,000 U/mg; b) 50 to 200 mg of Cynara scolymus extract having a caffeolic acid content ranging from 20 to 70 %, c) 10 to 50 mg of the Echinacea angustifolia lipophilic extract; d) from 100 to 250 mg of the Vitis vinifera pips extract; and, possibly, e) 20 to 50 mg of Panax ginseng extract having 7 % ginsenoside content determined by HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography); mixed with suitable excipients.
EFFECT: above mentioned composition is effective for obesity and overweight preventing and treating, the composition components act synergistic.
