FIELD: laboratory equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laboratory equipment used in the study of courses on the theory of explosives, the action of an explosion, experimental methods for analyzing the properties of explosive substances, in particular the concentration limits of flame propagation through gas-air mixtures. Educational laboratory stand for experimental determination of the concentration limits of flame propagation for various gas-air mixtures in various proportional ratios contains sealed containers with test gases connected in series, a burette for creating a gas mixture of various compositions in various proportional ratios, a burette for creating a gas-air mixture, a rubber chamber for mixing gases coming from a burette, an explosion chamber with a hole for releasing excess pressure, electrodes built into the explosion chamber as a source of an electrical impulse that is supplied when the electrical circuit is closed with a key. Sealed containers with test gases are gas cylinders or rubber chambers.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to observe and analyze at what ratio of the gas composition to the oxidizer an explosion is possible, to determine the concentration limits of flame propagation for various gas-air mixtures, to study how a change in the gas composition affects the concentration limits of flame propagation through the mixture.
