FIELD: veterinary science; pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary pharmacology, namely to a method for preparing a preparation for preventing postpartum retention of placenta in cows and treating endometritis in cows. Method of producing a preparation for preventing and treating diseases specified in a group: preventing postpartum retention of placenta in cows and treating endometritis in cows, involves mixing a hydrolyzate of placenta of cows with an extract of boron uterus in ratio of 4:1, obtaining 5 % aqueous solution of the preparation from a mixture, where a cow placenta hydrolyzate and an extract of boron uterus are obtained using certain methods.
EFFECT: method described above enables to obtain a highly effective biogenic preparation having anti-inflammatory, antiseptic action, which promotes 100 % effective prevention of postpartum complications in cows and having a therapeutic effect of up to 92,3 % in treating endometritis in cows.
