SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a machine for filling bags with a granular product, containing filling, welding and cooling stations. The machine additionally contains a support device for holding the bags during operation of the base of each of the bags. The supporting device contains a support surface, a rotary shaft and drive devices. The support surface is assembled on the rotation shaft such that the support surface has a first support section located opposite the welding and filling station on one side of the rotation shaft, and a second support section located opposite the cooling station on the opposite side of the rotation shaft. In this case, the support surface can be rotated alternately around a rotary shaft to move the base of the bag, which is operatively located in the filling station during filling.

EFFECT: high bag filling rates are achieved, energy consumption is reduced and fully closed bags are obtained that can be easily palletized.
