SUBSTANCE: machine comprises a device for forming a sleeve of packaging material, in which the products are placed, the sealing device that produces transverse welded seam to form the bags, a device for removing air from each bag through the opening in the bag. At that the device comprises a locking element located between the sealing device and the device for removing air. The locking member holds the sleeve, and isolates hermetically the bag with product. At that the device for removing air additionally acts under the influence of the locking element on the sleeve. In the method of packaging the sleeve of packaging material is preliminary placed, a number of transverse welded seams on the sleeve is made for creating the bags, the product is placed in each bag, a hole is made in each bag, through which air is removed, and additional welded seam on the bag is created for isolation of the hole and hermetic sealing of the bag. At that the bag with the product is additionally hermetically isolated during the hermetic isolation the air is removed from the bag.
