FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: two-stroke two-cylinder internal combustion engine comprises a crankcase, pistons (6), cylinders (8), mechanisms of the rocking link and crank link. The cylinders (8) are divided by pistons (6) into an upper (9) and a lower (10) chambers and separated from the crankcase by removable covers (11) with holes (12) for the passage of rods (7) rigidly fixed on the pistons (6) on one side, and connected with the crankshaft through a hinge, rocker arms (16) and crank rods (17) on the other side. In order to move the outlet valves (24), cams are rigidly fixed on the crankshaft, interacting with the upper ends of the outlet valves (24) through rods (22) and equal-arm levers (23). The outlet valves (24) are configured to be opened when the pistons (6) are in the lower position. Longitudinal and semicircular grooves are also made in the lower part of the cylinders (8), communicating the upper (9) and the lower (10) chambers.
EFFECT: reduction in the overall dimensions along the cylinder axis and reduction in the mass.
