FIELD: structures elements protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of protection of elements of structures from external influences, in particular to a protective cover for a door and a method for its production. A protective cover for a door is proposed, as well as a method for its production, moreover, the cover contains a main element made to be bent along the fold line, and folded elements made with the possibility of bending along the fold line, connecting elements located along the edge of the main element and the folded elements, while the main element is made with two elongated openings, the edges of which are connected with the possibility of separation by a fastener.
EFFECT: expanding the arsenal of technical means due to the creation of a protective cover that can be easily and quickly installed on a door mounted in a doorway and provide its reliable protection from external influences.
