FIELD: bridge maintenance.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to ferry-bridge facilities, namely to the motorization of pontoon-bridge parks. The propulsion and steering system for controlling the pontoon as part of the pontoon-bridge fleet contains an outboard motor and an outboard motor attachment device to the pontoon. The device for attaching the outboard motor to the pontoon contains a frame made with the possibility of installation and fixation on the side traverse of the pontoon, having a vertical guide with a carriage mounted on it, to which a swivel fork with a transom plate is pivotally attached, on which the outboard motor is fixed. A hydroelectric station is installed on the frame to move this carriage along the mentioned vertical guide, and the steering mechanism of the outboard motor is located on the carriage itself. For motorization and control of the pontoon as part of the pontoon-bridge park, two propulsion and steering units are pre-installed and fixed on the side traverses of the pontoon, one on each traverse. A given optimal deepening of the propellers of the propulsion and steering systems is performed at different values of the pontoon draft. The movement of the pontoon is controlled with simultaneous or sequential operation of the propulsion and steering systems.
EFFECT: acceleration and simplification of motorization is achieved, as well as increased maneuverability of pontoon control with simultaneous provision of optimal propulsion depth at different values of pontoon draft.
