FIELD: signalling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre-optic security detectors. According to the method for signalling using a fibre-optic security detector with a linear part with at least one interferometer, the sensing elements of the linear part of the fibre-optic security detector, constituting a branched optical circuit, are placed, wherein said linear part constitutes a branched optical circuit placed on the fencing elements by means of connecting couplings containing splitters and hardware delay lines, and a fibre-optic cable, a laser pulse from the output of the transceiver apparatus to the input of said linear part is formed, and a returned pulse is received, which is a reflection signal, to the input of the transceiver apparatus by the same path, but in the opposite direction. The linear part comprises an optical circuit of an open and/or closed interferometer for a fibre-optic security detector, containing an open and/or closed circuit forming a reflection signal, wherein the same segments of the optical fibre of the cable are sensing elements of the interferometers, wherein a phase shift of the sounding pulse is created in accordance with the exerted physical impact. A change in the value of the reflection signal corresponding to the value and nature of elastic deformation of the sensing elements is therein recorded, wherein said hardware delay line constitutes an optical delay line made by connecting the necessary length of redundant cores of a fibre-optic cable into an optical circuit.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the process of installation and increases the speed of installation, increases the reliability of the detector.
