SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a system for plugging and abandoning a borehole. System for plugging and abandoning a borehole comprises a downhole tubular structure with an inner part and a wall, located in the wellbore, a first plug located in the downhole tubular structure for sealing the lower part of the downhole tubular structure, a second plug located in the downhole tubular structure at a distance and above the first plug while sealing a closed space with a pressure of the space between the first plug and the second plug; wherein a wireless abandoning apparatus is located in the closed space, containing: a unit intended for increasing the pressure of the space under the second plug to the test pressure in the closed space, a sensor intended for measuring the temperature and/or pressure in the closed space when the test pressure is applied in the closed space and under the second plug for verifying the seal tightness of at least the second plug; and a communication module of the apparatus, configured to receive input signals from the sensor and transmit signals from the abandoning apparatus, wherein said module comprises: a heating element for increasing the temperature in the closed space in order to increase the pressure in the closed space, or an energy charge intended for generating a gas and/or heat in the closed space in order to thereby increase the pressure in the closed space, or a gas cylinder with gas for increasing the pressure in the closed space when the gas is released into the closed space. Also disclosed is a method for plugging and abandoning a borehole.
EFFECT: creation of an improved system for plugging and abandoning a borehole ensuring sustained pressure in the event of flowing, increase in the safety of the boreholes subject to abandoning.
