SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydrodynamics and can be used in distributing collector systems of heat exchangers and reactors. The device for changing the profile of the mass flow of liquid at the outlet of the distributing collector includes a housing (5), a bottom (3), an output element (2), outlet channels (6), throttling elements (4), movable elements (7) and clamps (9). A system of isolated outlet channels (6) is installed in the output element (2). Throttling elements (4) are placed in the outlet channels (6). At least one throttling element (4) is installed in the inlet part of the outlet channel (6), the length of which does not exceed its 20 hydraulic diameters. The throttling elements (4) are provided with movable elements (7). The outlet channels (6) have clamps (9). The invention also relates to a method for changing the profile of the mass flow of liquid at the outlet of the distributing collector.
EFFECT: provision of a local change in the profile of the mass flow rate of the liquid at the outlet of the distributing collector.
