FIELD: beekeeping.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to beekeeping, in particular to devices for opening sealed honeycomb cells, and can be widely used in honeycomb opening both in private households and in industrial production. The knife includes a flat blade and pads, between which a heating element is located, electric wires inside the handle, the axis of which is offset relative to the plane of the blade. The blade is made of stainless magnetic steel. As a heating element, a flat induction concentric winding is used, the plane of which has a shape congruent to the shape of the knife plane. The heating element is equipped with a pulse-width modulating temperature controller containing a timer with pins 1-8, a field-effect transistor, resistors: "start", current-limiting, feedback, timing and variable; the first, second and timing capacitors and the plus and minus terminals for connecting the power supply. Output 1 of the timer is connected to the "minus" terminal to connect the power supply, output 2 - through the "start" resistor, the knife heating element and the first capacitor are connected to the "minus" terminal to connect the power source, pin 3 "output" through the current-limiting resistor is connected to the base of the field effect transistor, the drain of which and the upper terminal of the feedback resistor are connected to the “plus” terminal of the power source, to which terminals 4 and 8 of the timer and the upper terminal of the time-setting resistor are connected. Output 5 "control" through a second capacitor and a variable resistor connected in parallel is connected to the "minus" terminal to connect the power source. Outputs 6 and 7 are connected together with the lower terminal of the timing resistor, and through the timing capacitor with the "minus" terminal to connect the power supply. The drain and source of the transistor are shunted by a feedback resistor. The handle of the variable resistor is placed on the knife handle.
EFFECT: invention provides reduction of labor intensity when opening honeycombs and reduction of their damage.
