FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. The generator contains a fixed housing with a rotor and a counter rotor movably installed in it. The contact devices are made in the form of sealed dielectric housings, fixed in relation to the generator housing and containing liquid metal. The contact devices for supplying the excitation current provide the supply of an electric excitation current from the contact conductors to the contact rings of the rotor shaft and the rotor windings. The contact devices for removing the generated current provide the supply of generated electric current from the counter rotor windings to the contact rings of the counter rotor and contact conductors connected to external consumers.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of electric power extraction from the rotating stator is achieved.
