FIELD: optical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical instrumentation and can be used in the creation of guided projectiles with laser semi-active homing heads and non-contact optical fuses. According to the proposed method, the object is periodically illuminated with frequencies f1 and f2 by laser radiation at the first and second wavelengths in non-matching time intervals, the reflected radiation beams are spectrally filtered, defocused and recorded by a multi-site photodetector, object registration signals and angular misalignment signals of the object are generated by their sum-difference processing, it is worked out, the range is measured to the object, the remote detonation signal is formed when registering a sequence of at least N object detection signals and at a distance to the object no higher than the specified one, the formation of laser radiations and their reception are carried out inside time windows, the radiation pattern at the second wavelength is formed in the form of a hollow conical surface.
EFFECT: increase in accuracy is provided with a simultaneous increase in the angular viewing area.
