FIELD: rocket technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rocket technology and, in particular, to a structure of a block of roll nozzles designed to control the roll of a rocket in flight. A block of roll nozzles is proposed, containing a case with a branch pipe for supplying working gas, a pair of nozzles directed opposite to each other, gates providing the redistribution of a working gas flow rate between each nozzle, means for attachment of the nozzle block to a body of a booster rocket, and a pneumatic drive. In this case, the specified nozzles are made as a single whole with the case, and their axes are parallel and lay in the same plane. Each gate is made of a pipe with windows, one end of which is connected to a pneumatic drive rod, and the other one is connected to an insert defining a critical nozzle section. In addition, in the body of the nozzle block case, between axes of nozzles, a channel for supplying working gas is made, which, from the one side, is connected to a longitudinal hole made in a fastening support, and from the other side, is connected to a collector cavity located coaxially in the pipe in the area of its windows. The pneumatic drive has a stage cylinder hermetically closed from above with a cover and a stage piston. At the same time, a piston of a greater diameter is located above, and its supra-piston cavity is connected to a high-pressure gas medium. A piston of a smaller diameter is under the impact of working gas pressure. In this case, between inner surfaces of the cylinder and the piston of the pneumatic drive, sealing rings are installed, made of pyrographite. A locking ring installed between the piston of a smaller diameter and the cylinder is made of a nickel alloy “EK-61 (XH58MBJuD)”.

EFFECT: invention provides for an increase in the reliability of the nozzle block, high performance of the gate, and low flow rate of controlling gas.
