FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of extraction and preparation of gas and gas condensate for long-distance transport. A method for automatic control of heat losses of recuperative heat exchangers (HE) at low-temperature gas separation plants is proposed. The automated process control system (APCS) measures the temperature of the heating thermal liquid with a given time discreteness, as well as the mass flow rate of the heating and heated thermal liquid at the inlet and outlet of the first and second sections of the “gas-gas” HE and “gas-condensate” HE. For each measurement moment, the APCS calculates the actual thermal efficiency for the HE. The results of calculating the thermal efficiency when starting the installation for the first measurement are stored by the APCS as a reference value, and the APCS uses the obtained values to plot the continuous time function graph ƒ(t). If the ƒ(t) graph changes within the permissible variations, then the operation of HE thermal insulation is carried out without any restrictions. As soon as the deviation of the graph from the reference values reaches a critical value or exceeds it and continues to grow, the APCS generates a message to the installation operator.
EFFECT: reduction in the cost of repair work.
