SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicles for the transport of long loads in the logging industry, mainly to log trucks. The short log truck comprises a caterpillar chassis (1) with a frame (2), in the front part of which a hydraulically controlled pusher (17) with a blade (18) having a cutting edge (19) is installed. On the back side of the blade (18), guides 20 are installed by welding, in which teeth (21) are fixed with bolted joints. On the frame (2) in front of the loading platform (4) a winch (10) with a hydraulic drive and a rope (11) is installed, and the front wall (12) of the loading platform (4) is equipped with a block (13) for reeving the rope (11). The winch hydraulic drive (10) is made in the form of a reversible hydraulic motor (14). The rope (11) is provided with a set of chokers (15) held at the end of the rope (11) by means of a retaining split ring (16).

EFFECT: invention improves the performance of a short log truck by reducing the duration of the freight travel.
