FIELD: cosmetics industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the manufacture of cosmetic products. The composition to simulate the color of cochineal red contains a dye composition containing (a) the first component containing salt (sulfonatophenylazo)naphthoate, and (b) the second component containing salt (phenylazo)naphthalene disulfonate. The first and second components are in a mass ratio from 5:1 to 3:1. The composition to simulate the color of cochineal red is an emulsion containing an active component, with the active component being 4-ethylresorcinol, retinyl propionate or a mixture thereof.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a composition for coloring cosmetic products that is stable during storage and does not contain the cochineal red dye.
