SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of vertically installed racks made of composite material that carry a functional load. The proposed rack is equipped with a lid and contains one or more successively fastened hollow sections with a constant or variable thickness of a diffusely transparent wall formed by the method for oblique longitudinal-transverse winding of a reinforcing filler impregnated with a binder onto a forming element in one pass. Each section is stepped-cylindrical both outside and inside, or each section is cylindrical. The rack is made with the possibility of placing a functional load in its internal volume, and/or outside and/or inside the wall. As a functional load placed in the internal volume of the rack, LED assemblies are used, mounted on an aluminum alloy hollow core, which is coaxially suspended inside the rack.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to expand the operational capabilities and range of applications of the rack (in terms of variability both in positioning the functional load in relation to the rack, and in combining its types, increasing the efficiency of light distribution) by giving the rack elements multifunctionality, creating technological and layout conditions, allowing not only to form a diffusely transparent rack from one section, but also to ensure the same diffuse transparency of a rack containing several sections along its entire length after assembly while achieving the necessary rigidity and strength even when cantilevered outside the rack of functional equipment.
