FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to voltage regulators by switching winding coils in a 6(10)/0.4 kV power transformer. A device for switching coils of winding of a 6(10)/0.4 kV transformer works as follows: nominal phase-to-phase and phase voltages at terminals of winding of the 6(10)/0.4 kV transformer are 380 and 220 volts, respectively. With an increase or a decrease in the electrical load, the voltage value at terminals of winding will decrease or increase, accordingly. In these cases, the device will automatically increase or decrease a number of working coils of high-voltage winding, accordingly. Analog information about the value of the operating voltage on busbars from sensors (16) is converted into ADC (17) and, due to electronic software, a comparison is made with a setpoint of a voltage value set by a point adjuster, and a command is executed to increase or decrease the number of coils. A command signal from block (18), using a control cable, enters node (15), and from a connector of node (15), a pulse gets to a control pole of the corresponding triac through the control cable. According to an electronic program set to the point adjuster, the odd triac is first turned on, after which the even triac is turned off, thereby the rupture of load operating current through transformer winding is excluded.
EFFECT: with short-term shunting of a part of working winding 14, an increase in transient mode current is limited due to current-limiting counter-sequentially connected first and second windings, thereby increasing the reliability of the operation of triacs in this mode.
