FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine. The device for the treatment of damaged trunks of the brachial plexus has a helmet made individually according to the shape and size of the patient's head, a fixation ring made according to the shape and size of the shoulder joint, and two threaded rods from the set of the Ilizarov external fixation apparatus. To connect said helmet and ring, on the side surface of the helmet, from the side of the damaged nerve, symmetrically to the midline of the shoulder, at a distance exceeding the width of the auricle, two brackets are screwed for hinged fixing of the ends of said rods. On the outer side surface of the fixing ring, bushings for opposite ends of the rods are fixed diametrically opposite by means of screws. The ends of the rods are equipped with two nuts installed in series.
EFFECT: invention provides reduction of invasiveness of surgical intervention due to non-invasive replacement of a nerve defect while reducing treatment time.
