FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied as anaesthetic management in operative interventions of superior limb. For this purpose patient laid down on back and following points are detected on patient body. The first one is needle puncture point. It is located in the middle of back edge of sternocleidomastoid muscle. The second one is reference point for needle direction and located 1 cm more medial of clavicle middle. Needle is inserted into first point with to introduce 5-7 ml of anaesthetic in subcutaneous cellular tissue. After that needle is forwarded by 1-1.5 cm at an angle 30-40° to skin surface in direction to second point until signs of brachiplex fascial compartment puncture occur as click and spillage, followed with injection of rest dose of anaesthetic solution to brachiplex fascial compartment.
EFFECT: method enables to provide adequate anaesthesia of superior limb due to simultaneous blockade of both brachiplex and cerviciplex, as well as considerably lower probability of complications of such anaesthesia caused by adjacent organ involvement.
