FIELD: rocket technology.
SUBSTANCE: liquid rocket propulsion system can be used as a base module of reusable space transport systems and mobile sea-based missiles. The installation consists of a combustion chamber and autonomous systems for feeding the combustion chamber with fuel components in both liquid and gaseous phases. There are no oxidizer and fuel supply lines in the installation, and the power system units: pumps, turbines and gas generators are located in the recesses of the bottom of the fuel tanks in the same type of environment: the oxidizer supply system units in the oxidizer fuel tank, and the fuel supply system units in the fuel tank of the fuel.
EFFECT: proposed design radically solves the problem of longitudinal oscillatory instability of powerful liquid-fueled rockets without the use of special damping devices, at the same time, the dimensions and weight of the power system are reduced, the cost and time of experimental testing of a liquid rocket propulsion system are reduced, and the static stability and reliability of the rocket are increased.
