FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: liquid-propellant rocket engine can be used as a base module of space transport systems. Plant consists of a traction combustion chamber and unified autonomous systems for feeding the combustion chamber with fuel components, the supply units of which: pumps, turbines, gas generators, are located in the inter-tank compartment on the lower or upper bottoms of the corresponding tanks.
EFFECT: this makes it possible to use both high-boiling and low-boiling fuel components in any combination thereof, at the same time assembly and autonomous development of combustion chamber supply systems with fuel components is simplified; besides, arrangement of massive units of fuel components supply systems in combustion chamber in the area of liquid-propellant rocket engine centre of mass increases static stability of the rocket as a whole and reduces take-off run of the centre of pressure and centre of mass of the rocket during flight.
