SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of forecasting and indication of potential problems in the process of drilling wells. A computer method for warning about a future anomaly in the drilling process is disclosed, including: formation of the first training data set for the first machine learning algorithm (MLA) based on the wells’ historical data; training of the first MLA using the first training data set to form the first normal response model; determination of a potential drilling anomaly based on the first normal response model and real-time well data; formation of a second training data set for the second MLA based on the wells’ historical data and sample data generated by the first normal response model; training of the second MLA using the second training data set to form the second normal response model; prediction of the main parameters of the drilling process based on the second model of normal response and real-time data of wells; determination of the actual drilling anomaly based on the predicted basic parameters of the drilling process and real-time data of wells; formation of a warning based on a potential drilling anomaly and/or actual drilling anomaly.

EFFECT: identification of abnormal parameters in the drilling process.
