FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and is intended for obtaining pulp from root crops in laboratory studies of the sugar content of sugar beets. The device comprises a frame, a circular saw connected to the drive mechanism, and guides attached to the frame on both sides of the circular saw with a cut-out plate placed in them and able to move along them. Lever-captures are hinged to the plate and connected to each other by an elastic element. The gripping levers have teeth for holding root crops. The cutout plate is equipped with a drive based on a cylindrical asynchronous motor with three pole pairs. The motor rotor has a rigid connection with the plate and an elastic storage of mechanical energy installed between the cutout plate and the frame. The elastic drive is rigidly connected to the plate and the frame. The movement of the insert towards the saw blade is limited by a position sensor.
EFFECT: use of the invention will increase the production of pulp from root crops and reduce energy costs.
