FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus for tensioning a track chain. Apparatus includes a guide wheel installed movably at one end of a crank. The other end of the crank is connected with the crank axle passing through the holes in the frame and connected with a blade inside a hollow hub with a stop and a cover. The cavity of the hub is connected by means of a controlled adjustable throttle valve with the cavity of a gas hydraulic accumulator and is equipped with an electronic control unit, the control sensor whereof is placed on the cover of the hollow hub. The inner cavity of the hub is filled with a magnetorheological fluid, and the stop is equipped with electromagnetic coils on both sides. A gear is made on the hollow hub, engaged with a worm placed on bearings on the frame and provided with a shank for adjusting the tension.
EFFECT: increased smoothness of travel and expanded operational possibilities of the vehicle.
