FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the suspension of road wheels of vehicles. The active suspension of the vehicle road wheels includes a carrier road wheel, a balance beam, a hydraulic damper, and a second damper. In the cylindrical body of the damper, a vane piston with jets is installed, rigidly connected to the balancer. The balancer, together with stops rigidly fixed inside the cylindrical body, divides the damper into two cavities filled with magnetic rheological fluid. The stops are equipped with electromagnetic coils connected to the electronic control unit. The control unit receives a signal from vibration sensors. The sensors are mounted on the frame of the vehicle. The piston is placed in the cylindrical body of the second damper. In the upper part of the piston there is a cavity connected by channels with the cavities of the first hydraulic damper. In the channels of the first hydraulic damper, adjustable throttles controlled by an electronic unit are installed, connected to the second damper. The lower part of the piston is filled with pressurized gas.
EFFECT: reduced dimensions and increased smoothness of the transport vehicle.
