FIELD: caterpillar modules.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to caterpillar modules with various devices for passing through changing ground. The caterpillar-modular device for a vehicle contains an elastic monolithic spatial frame, a caterpillar belt, a drive wheel rotating relative to the frame, and main track rollers and a mechanism for regulating the contact area of the caterpillar belt with the ground surface. The control mechanism is made in the form of a lever connected to a hydraulic cylinder. The lever is equipped with a pair of supporting and a pair of tension rollers and is pivotally connected to a monolithic space frame. In this case, the hydraulic cylinder is attached to the frame at one end, and to the lever at the other end.
EFFECT: increased service life and improved operational reliability of the caterpillar-modular device.
