FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: threshing method for harvesting grain crops provides for their separation specifically in the form of grain from harvested material to be harvested, which is fed into a threshing phase after the harvesting process that occurs against the direction of the working movement. During this phase, harvested material is processed as appropriate grain crops, as well as impurities in the form of straw and chaff, in such a way that main discharged impurities are separated from grain crops, wherein they are fed with chaff or small particles in the form of a grain/chaff flow for final cleaning, and grain that does not contain these residual impurities is harvested essentially as grain crops. During at least one feeding phase preceding the final cleaning, at least one grain/chaff flow is given a transporting movement having a component in the vertical upward direction and a component in the direction of the working movement. A device for implementing the threshing method for harvesting grain crops is proposed, in which harvested material fed by a cutting mechanism is drawn into a threshing block, in which straw and the grain/chaff flow are separated, after the final cleaning of which the grain can be fed into a storage hopper. The threshing block, in order to collect the grain/chaff flow released from it, interacts with a lifting conveyor that deflects the grain/chaff flow and forms a displacement section directed upwards relatively to the threshing block, so that the grain/chaff flow has at least a stepwise transporting movement, which has a component in the vertical direction and a component in the direction of the working movement.

EFFECT: improved passage of grain crops and impurities is provided with compact dimensions of the device.
