FIELD: navigation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the navigation of sea areas. Method for installing navigation equipment of a sea area in the Arctic underwater navigation system consists in laying an underwater navigation system with a leader cable on the bottom and creating an electromagnetic pilotage corridor. Self-propelled underwater vehicle comprises an onboard control system, navigation equipment, radio and underwater sound communication equipment, equipment of an underwater navigation system with a leader cable, light fixtures, surveillance and stationary video cameras, depth and temperature sensors, pressure compensators, buoyancy unit, laser pointers, buoyancy changing system, a sonar transponder beacon, a mini all-round view sonar, an inertial measuring apparatus, a single-stage manipulator with a wire cutter. Also claimed is an Arctic underwater navigation system for piloting and navigation support of surface and underwater navigation objects, containing a leader cable laid along the bottom, a coastal current generator, and shipboard equipment.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of locating the watercraft.
