SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction or repair of pipelines and is intended to strengthen the walls of trenches dug in the ground during the repair or installation of main, technological and field pipelines, when there is no possibility of digging trenches with a slope or when the slope significantly increases the cost of work, and adverse weather conditions interfere with installation and welding work in the field conditions. The folding fastening of the trench with a canopy for welding work contains enclosing shields, crisscrossing spacers pivotally connected in the center, the upper ends of the struts are made with a hinged fastening, and the lower ends of the struts are made with the possibility of fastening and connector using pins passing through the corresponding holes. The surface of the enclosing shields along the contour is rigidly connected to the metal corners forming the frame, holes are made on the metal corners of the side surface of the enclosing shields along the entire length, ensuring the reinstallation of the struts depending on the configuration of the trench. The metal corners of the lower end surface of the enclosing shields are pivotally connected to the decking, providing isolation of workers from the soil and moisture of the trench bottom, a metal ladder is rigidly installed on the inside of the enclosing shield. A drum with a fabric canopy is rigidly mounted on the metal corner of the upper end of one enclosing shield. A crossbar is rigidly installed on the metal corner of the upper end of the second enclosing shield, which provides tension and fastening of the fabric canopy, mounting loops are located on the upper part of the shields.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of work, increasing the reliability and structural strength of the enclosing shields, reducing the metal consumption, labor intensity and duration of assembly and disassembly of the device, expanding the technological capabilities that ensure the performance of welding and installation work in all weather conditions, saving material costs and improving the safety and working culture of workers.
