SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of multimedia information technologies. A method for the extraction of big-bit information from fractions of a musical beat provides for: obtaining at least one partite candidate cycle based on fractions of a musical beat; generating at least one sequence of fractions corresponding to the partite candidate cycle, and calculating the weighting coefficient of the sequence of fractions, wherein two adjacent fractions in the sequence of fractions take the corresponding partite candidate cycle for an interval; selecting a sequence of fractions with the maximum weighting coefficient from among at least one longitudinal sequence of the partite candidate cycle as a sequence with the maximum weighting coefficient of the partite candidate cycle; and obtaining big-bit information based on the sequence with the maximum weighting coefficient of at least one partite candidate cycle and the corresponding weighting coefficient.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides the best accuracy of extraction of big-bit information from fractions of a musical beat.
