SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of horticulture, namely the propagation of lilacs. The method includes soil treatment of a greenhouse or cutting plant with an aqueous solution of Agroflorin at a concentration of 1:500 no later than 7 days before planting. After that, lilac cuttings are cut with 2-3 internodes at the time of lilac flowering or immediately after it from the middle part of the shoot with the leaves removed from the lower node and an oblique cut is made. Next, the half of the remaining leaf blades are shortened and the top of the shoot is removed by a straight cut above the top node. The cuttings are placed in a solution of Agroflorin for 24 hours, followed by planting in a greenhouse or cuttings with soil, completely deepening the lower node. Post-planting basal treatment of cuttings with Agroflorin solution is carried out at the rate of 1 ml per 1 plant with a solution concentration of 1:1000. After watering, the greenhouse or stalk is covered with two layers of polyethylene, placing a layer of translucent fabric between them. Once a week, before the formation of roots, spraying with an aqueous solution of potassium permanganate is carried out.

EFFECT: method provides for a reduction in the pesticide load on the environment by eliminating the use of fungicides, improving the biometric parameters of rooted cuttings and increasing the percentage of rooted cuttings.
