FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnologies for eliminating the consequences of pollution and can be used for bioremediation of soils contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). The method consists in the fact that recultivator No. 1 - a sludge of domestic sewage after fermentation in digesters and recultivator No. 2 - granules of a phosphorus-containing fertilizer obtained by pyrolysis of these sediments, are sequentially introduced onto the surface of the contaminated area in an equal weight ratio with a total dose of 0.8- 1.6 kg/m2, then deep loosening, disking and moistening are carried out to the highest moisture capacity (HM), followed by weekly loosening and moistening, and after 1-1.5 months seedlings of higher plants are planted on the site. As higher plants, seedlings of willow (Salix viminalis) and black poplar (Populus nigra) are used.
EFFECT: proposed method for phytoremediation of soils contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls allows, without significant labor and energy costs, to reduce the phyto- and biotoxicity of the soil in a fairly short period of time, carrying out a high degree of purification even of heavily polluted soils.
