FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and will find its application in the cultivation of intensive gardens and vineyards on stony and light soils. In the implementation of the drip irrigation method of an intensive type garden, a pit is dug out to plant the seedlings. Bottom area of the pit corresponds to the area of the projected tree crown. At the bottom of the pit a 3–7 cm thick screen is placed. Screen is made of clay mixed with pieces of tubes of polymer elastic material. Number of tubes is 30–40 % of the volume of clay. Pit is filled with the excavated soil. In the middle of the pit a seedling is planted. It is covered with the same soil. Drip irrigation is performed. Losses of irrigation water are excluded due to the deep filtration of moisture beyond the root layer. On soils with high permeability conditions are being created to ensure even moistening of the root layer of trees.
EFFECT: favorable air and water regime and a balanced mineral nutrition during the rooting of the seedling are maintained.
