FIELD: data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to data processing systems. The method consists in creating an object of informatization, certifying it according to information security requirements, forming a database of published works of limited distribution (B₁) on it. Newly prepared works are checked for plagiarism primarily by coincidence with this database (B₁). To check the work for plagiarism from open sources, a database of open materials collected by the authors to perform the work is consistently formed as source data (B₂), while keeping copies of these materials in personal copyright folders on a buffer computer used to transfer files to the informatization object. The works submitted for verification are checked for any amount of matches with the database (B₂), a folder with materials from the author’s folders from the buffer computer is formed on a physical medium, and in open plagiarism verification systems, not the work of limited distribution is checked, but all materials from the generated folder, in order to collect data on search engine indexes for the formation and placement on the object of informatization of the database (B₃) of scientific works from open sources, with all the attributes inherent in published scientific works. The final decision is made based on the results of checking the work of limited distribution at the informatization facility to assess the volume of borrowings from the database of open works (B₃). At the same time, at the stage of preparing files for their verification in open systems, they are evaluated for the content of information of limited distribution.

EFFECT: expansion of the arsenal of tools for checking scientific works of limited distribution for plagiarism.
