FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment using optical fibre, namely, to fibre-optic security detectors and to products, methods and means related to fibre-optic security detectors and aspects thereof. Claimed terminal fibre optic sensor (TFOS) comprises a body with a pusher providing a change in the position of rings of optical fibres of the sensing part, and a sensing part made of a splitter, the outputs whereof are closed with each other by an optical fibre coiled into a ring, together forming a closed loop, and/or a sensing part constituting a closed loop in the form of optical fibres coiled in rings and connected to a fibre optic cable without a splitter. Said rings are therein connected with said pusher and said body by means of rods passed inside the corresponding heat-shrinkable tube together with the corresponding rings.
EFFECT: structural simplification of the sensor, facilitated manufacture of the sensor, ensured continuous diagnostics of the serviceability of the sensor and the optical line leading thereto, and implementation of the purpose thereof.
