FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment using optical fiber, namely to security fiber-optic detectors. A method for mechanized laying of a fiber-optic cable into the ground is proposed, in which, before laying, the cable is inserted into a channel for input of flexible linear products of a cable-laying machine with a channel for input of flexible linear products and a vertical plow, and is attached to the ground, after which the cable-laying machine moves along a given curved path of cable laying, wherein, throughout the entire path, the direction of a bending radius of the mentioned trajectory is alternately changed in such a way that the cable tension is ensured during the laying process.
EFFECT: acceleration of the installation process, as well as increase in its sensitivity and ensuring uniformity of its sensitivity, in particular, due to elimination of the need for waiting for natural shrinkage of the ground, due to the tight fit of a cable to a convex part of a ground slot formed during curvilinear cable laying using a vertically positioned plow with continuous tension of a cable of a sensor element, while the tight fit of the cable to the ground provides more effective detection of seismic vibrations of the ground in case of unauthorized intrusion of an intruder into a cable laying area of the sensor element.
