SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used to improve the properties of the soil, its restoration and fertility. The composition for the preparation of fertilizer includes a sapropel-containing colloidal solution with a sapropel concentration of 15-20% and a dry mixture containing sapropel, binder, phosphated flour, potash, sulfur, carbamide or saltpeter. The ratio of the components in the composition is, wt. %: sapropel-containing colloidal solution 15-20, dry mixture 80-85. The fertilizer is made in the form of granules containing a dry mixture including sapropel, the granules are porous and impregnated with a sapropel-containing colloidal solution with a sapropel concentration of 15-20%, and the dry mixture additionally contains binder, phosphated flour, sulfur, potash, carbamide or saltpeter. The invention also concerns a method for obtaining fertilizer, according to which a sapropel-containing colloidal solution with a sapropel concentration of 15-20% is prepared in a cavitation installation, a dry mixture of sapropel, binder, phosphated flour, potash, sulfur, carbamide or saltpeter is moistened with a sapropel-containing colloidal solution, porous granules are formed.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the fertilizer, in particular, by increasing the duration of the fertilizer and reducing the number of operations when using it.
